yet Ubuntu still keeps Security riddled packages to gain users or lack there of them when most of APT users are more than likely going to Debian or Debian Sid. i would prefer security over old out dated packages, an ya wonder why Ubuntu aint the Number 1 Distro anymore, People have woken up.

If given the choice between software that has the absolute latest patches and software that works, I know which one I'm going to choose. I can't very well do much with a distro that has no connectivity and no keyboard / mouse support.

Yes-- I'm sure I could fix it with several hours of work over several days, but there's no guarantee the fix will survive the next kernel / dist upgrade and I'm too old for this crap.
