On this Thanksgiving day, I'm thankful that LO 24.2 will be more than 3X better than 7.6.3.

Why the big jump? Another new follower of the Chrome/Firefox version mantra?

This seems to be year.month CalVer versioning, as opposed to Chromium/Firefox which increment their major version every 6 weeks.

Does anyone know if use of LibreOffice is shrinking, stagnant or growing and how much? Are there any governments/schools taking up LibreOffice en-masse?
How does Calc stack up against Excel these days? Has anyone used it long term in a professional setting with complex spreadsheets and formulas?

Ah, in that case I encourage it! Although 2024.2 would've been better, but still.

Nothing matches MS Office, it has no peers.
