John, if you read this, I send to you a very, very big THANK YOU!!!!! You are the reason why all my systems use AMD/ATI, and why I'm a very happy user.

Since I have a high post count, a lot of which come from talking with starshipeleven when I first joined (I hope he's doing OK), that got me to looking and I can't believe I'm in 8th and, I find this funny, duby229 in 9th joined on my birthday.

bridgman We've had a lot of fun conversations over the years so I hope you stick around and shoot the shit from time to time. Have fun in retirement

I would also like to express my gratitude for engaging with the community here (even if it's as toxic as it is occasionally) and answering questions. AMD will be less with a diehard OSS enthusiast keeping it afloat.

Personally I think it's a drag how HSA hasn't gained larger ground. It's awesome tech.

Congrats to Bridgeman. We are sure to miss his driver efforts and in-depth communication, but I think he's well deserved a life of rest and relaxation.

Woah! I didn't realize... And I don't post that much anymore, I probably had a higher position a couple years ago.

I am writing this on a Linux system with an 8GB AMD RX 480 / Ellesmere XT driving two 1920x1200 screens.
                      Before that I had a 1GB AMD HD 6870 / Barts XT.

Thank you for your likely substantial part in making them both work so well on Linux bridgman , and enjoy your retirement.
May you not have stress yet only rarely get bored.
