While the fglrx 8.34.8 driver has only one major change, this alteration is significant and carries quite a bit of weight. The x86_64 X-Video bug has plagued users for about a year now, and with this release, it has finally ended. This release also adds official support for the Radeon Xpress X1250. Among the bug-fixes in this release include video overlay shifts in Big Desktop mode with pre-R500 GPUs and Red Hat RPM fixes. If you are running a Fedora 7 Test release, be sure to try the new packaging scripts.
