GEM Patches Submitted For Linux 2.6.28-rc1

Red Hat's David Airlie have submitted the patches that add the Intel GEM memory manager to the kernel's DRM (Direct Rendering Manager). Additionally, these patches contain a vblank rework, Intel OpRegion support, and Radeon DRM updates. The OpRegion patches make it possible to use video-related hotkeys with systems using Intel integrated graphics. With the Radeon improvements there are a few fixes, RS400 support, RS740 IGP support, and other work.
The git link, patch change-log, and announcement can be found on the DRM mailing list.
