SLAX 7.0 "Green Horn" Released: ~200MB KDE Linux OS
SLAX 7.0, the KDE-based Linux operating system that's sized in at 200MB, was officially released on Monday.
SLAX 7.0, developed under the codename "Green Horn", is the first SLAX release in more than three years. SLAX 7.0 ships with KDE 4.9.4, the Linux 3.6.9 kernel, Mesa 8.0.4, GCC 4.7.1, and many other new packages. With this being the first release in more than three years for the lightweight operating system, this is also the first release that's using KDE 4.x rather than KDE 3.5.
