    Great work.
Now we only need a gstreamer 0.10 wrapper.

I'm already running grafx2 without problems. Maybe my system still has SDL 1.2 libraries. But looking at grafx2 source it looks like it already does support SDL 2.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (the 22-year-old binaries from Loki!)

yeah, now if only most Loki ports didn't suffer from a heap of other problems... SMAC very much included. But the biggest of them isn't even compatibility per se - sometimes it's overcome-able (at least in theory, see eg https://github.com/libsdl-org/sdl12-compat/issues/176 ) - but the sheer amount of fixes community has produced over the years to fix a garbazillion of bugs (funny how the publishers never bother to do it eh)... And that almost exclusively come in the form of some binary patch.. for the win/dos executable obviously.

still a nice shim in general

Awesome, but a slippery slope. wait till they end up implementing functionality from scratch.

GLSMAC. Now, for a vulkan update 🙃 VCMI is good for Heroes III, and works on Android.
