          That is what I mean, ever since the Blink forking.... I have not really heard anything in the Webkit camps. And I know for a fact that Apple doesn't want to touch the core of Webkit... which would be requited for some things in HTML5, CSS3 etc.

          Maybe they have not been posting much unless you follow the git, but the fact that there is silence is rather telling.

            I don't know -when- they switched but the Tizen documentation explicitly states the systemd is the init system. https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Porting_Guide#systemd
