      Wait, that was in a specific context - running ReactOS with Windows "assets", as suggested in an earlier post. Obviously, one can freely use ReactOS, but without a Windows license it wouldn't be legal to just get everything "around" the Windows kernel and get away with it. The Windows EULA covers the whole operating system, not just the kernel.

      I like that ReactOS keeps growing. Hopefully it will reach beta before we get retired or Microsoft open-sources Windows. (yeah, right...)
