          I submitted a correction for this one. it is *NOT* true (though it definitely sounds true from the commit message).

          tldr:
          • I upstreamed binutils support for Haiku in 2021 from our fork.
          • A maintainer at GCC took the autotools portion of the binutils commit in 2021, and the commit message saying "support was added", and merged them to GCC for autotools stuff
