Hmm... seems to be all autoconf stuff and a libtool patch. I wondered if it might be something to do with calling conventions, but it's nothing so interesting.

Anyone who wants security should switch from Linux to Haiku.

      CVS in 2023 for Haiku(BeOS): 0
CVS in 2023 for Linux..........: 223

As Benjamin Franklin famously said: "Those who would seek security through obscurity deserve neither."

A wise man. That's why I don't follow any speed limits, especially in the city.

It sure is! And the best thing (aside from the super lightweight and great-to-use interface): you don't even have to give up much as it runs a lot of Linux apps (KDE, Qt, GNOME, etc.), available in HaikuDepot (their version of a software center) or by compiling, and also Windows apps through an unofficial Wine port.

You know that the more a software get used the more issues/bugs get discovered.
Haiku has 0 CVS because simply It has 0 users.

The Haiku community is growing day by day and the amount of available software in their software center is large, from native apps to KDE, Qt and GNOME apps, to Wine. And Haiku was also positively reviewed by Action Retro on YouTube recently, who has a large following, so that will also help adoption. But I do agree with you that CVS's will come as it grows. Haiku is fantastic, but no software in the world is 100% safe/bug-free.

I think you mangled that quote somewhat.
