So you won't tell me how you figured how that pulseaudio log with no description whatsoever that has (by your own admission) "no indication of it anywhere in there" is a "log of the exact problem you described" ?

Just go to Ubuntu or mints or gentoos bug tracker and look. That's literally all you ever had to do. I found that log in less than one minute. I don't understand why you seem so incapable.

in most programs you need to enable verbose (debug) logging, because otherwise they would spam your logs with debug stuff for no reason. Pulseaudio is no different.

Don't remind me One of my biggest pet peeves is runtime bugs with no error messages anywhere. I believe the root cause for that is because PA devs believe it's perfect and so the result is its logging characteristics don't capture common problems.

I already did, you just refuse to look at them. I posted a link to Ubuntu's bug tracker where Pulseaudio bugs are tracked, and also two upstream bug reports. Look at them please.
