      Your awareness is incorrect. A fully wayland stack removes all the legacy stuff - including a separate server process - that an Xorg-based stack has.

        This isn't a "good thing", its a downgrade for hardware that only has one or two compute cores, such as was ubiquitous 15 years ago when wayland was initially released but basically none existent now, even the cheapest $1 arm cores are quad core now.
