Ruediix Did libdrm-common get installed when you upgraded to zesty? $ apt-cache policy libdrm-common or dpkg -l libdrm-common will show if it's installed, I'm not sure if apt-cache works unless apt-file is installed. The package causes problems with the ppa upgrade on Artful not sure if it was added to Zesty or not.

oibaf Is current build broken? i386 mesa doesn't seem to compile so now I'm left with 64 bit mesa from today (171027) and a 32 bit mesa from 2 days ago (171025). full-upgrade seems to be trying to install the most recent version (171027) that doesn't exist in your repo.

oibaf is current build broken? It doesn't seem to compile mesa for i386. Only 64 bit version compiles and now I'm left in a situation where apt tries to download the most recent 32 bit mesa package (171027) when only (171025) is available so it fails. I'm currently unavailable to install 32 bit mesa at all. It seems like padoka's build also doesn't compile for 32 bit xenial? Any idea what's causing it/how to workaround it?

The ppa complete messes up with my dependencies in 17.10. Trying to fix anything results in marking all KDE components for removal. ppa-purge did not work. What in God's name can I do?

There is currently a build error in mesa: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103513
No idea about the KDE issue, sorry.

I encountered this same error with Ubuntu 17.10 on a fresh install. My AskUbuntu post summarizes my experience, but in short, there is a conflict with the version of libdrm-amd-gpu provided by the PPA and the one provided by libdrm-common which breaks the drivers and several core packages to xorg and wayland. Ubuntu will not allow the PPA to override this library. I did solve the problem with the following steps:

1. sudo dpkg --purge libdrm-common

2. sudo apt update

3. sudo apt upgrade

I did disable the PPA before the dpkg, then reenabled before the update, but this shouldn't actually make a difference, I was digging through a lot of things to try and solve this. But now apt no longer tries to uninstall GNOME.

I still can't build oibaf, only just installed maui which is ubuntu kde basically. Seems it conflicts pretty badly with i386, installing request me to remove 90% of packages on my system, which certainly isn't right!

libdrm-common doesn't even exist for me, so its not that.

I am having same issues, the current set of packages is breaking the system

I cant install 'wine' or 'crossover' i get these errors:
