    What a waste of space & time!

    Seriously, AVX10/128 instructions make a lot of sense. If you're just doing 3D graphics, then 4-component fp32 vectors map nicely to homogeneous coordinates and AVX-512/AVX10 is a nicer ISA to work in than SSE or AVX1/2. As there might be some savings to using only the 128-bit form, I would.

    Who the hell cares if someone could build an AVX10/128-only CPU? I doubt anyone will, so why is the author so offended by the possibility being mentioned in the specs?
