The CacheBench read/write tests show the improvement of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus over the non-plus model. But the ODROID-C2 and ASUS TinkerBoard are still much faster -- not to mention the premium NVIDIA Jetson developer boards and then the x86 systems.

The overall SciMark2 performance on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus is about 16% better than the non-plus Model B. The performance here is just shy of the ODROID-C2.

With the synthetic eBizzy benchmark that tries to model web server performance, the Model B Plus is a slight improvement over the previous Raspberry Pi and in this particular case comes about in between the Celeron N2820 and J3455 Intel systems.
