GTK+ File Chooser Receiving Many Improvements
In working toward GNOME 3.17.4 later this month, the next version of the GTK+ tool-kit will receive a number of file chooser improvements and other work.
Matthias Clasen has been landing a lot of file chooser improvements into GTK+ Git since yesterday: search results improvements, Ctrl+F search shortcut, improved keyboard navigation, improved column sizing, and many other clean-ups and improvements, particularly around the interface and search functionality.
There's also been a wide variety of other work going into GTK+ Git, even a few Mir back-end improvements this week. Read our many GNOME 3.18 articles to find out more about what's coming into this next desktop environment update due out in September.
