        i don't know why they did this revolution in ope source fashion, because to me it seems it could easily be milked for huge money.

        But the fact they did it has raised my view of them, and given them huge respect.

          Looking forward to Volta complaining that there aren't any scalable projects written in Rust.

          Pingora is battle tested as it has been serving more than 40 million Internet requests per second for more than a few years.​

              But it is neither tiny, nor doing simple tasks. Well, the task itself is not hard, but details matter and it needs to be very fast and memory efficient.

                Android is large enough project for you? It was 1.5M Rust code in 2022 already.

                  It is more than just a proxy, and it contains 38K lines of Rust, so it is not small. It is also highly scalable, featuring load balancing capabilities.
