Too bad Mozilla is no longer in charge of Rust. Otherwise they could introduce Chrome specific bugs and performance issues down the line to give Google a taste of its own medicine 😂😂.

On a serious note, the importance of Rust to the backbone of the modern web can no longer be neglected.

Your opinion is noted, but ungoogled chromium is far from spyware.

On the same serious note, it'll be both satisfying and amusing if Google uses one of the parser crates written/maintained for Firefox, giving Firefox rather than Chrome the chance to be the maintainers of a component every derived browser depends on.

Gosh I hope so. Then upstream might actually accept patches for platforms other than the core monetizable ones.

Only 5% readable HTML code that is proprietary with the rest 95% open source is proprietary garbage.. yeah of course. Why is it that so many in the open source community have these brain dead opinions about Vivaldi? When its founder is also one of the most vocal privacy advocates?
