This past weekend Ubuntu Touch OTA-2 Focal was released as the first update this lineage of being based off the newer Ubuntu Long-Term Support state...

    Slightly off topic. Is there any dominant Linux distro for phones? Or is it too early to tell?

        I think the biggest non android based is SailfishOS.

          Haven't heard of them in ages. But they're available on a "real" phone (Sony Xperia models) and even have Android app support. Don't know why they're not more popular.

            They don't have the resources nor finances needed to grow.
            Most users are comfortable and don't want to install a third party OS that might void warranty.
