Actually, snap can also support multi-app dependencies just like flatpak. It's just that it's not being used right now. Give it time, both snap and flatpak are not done yet. I think in the end they will offer almost an identical feature set. I hope one of them wins, because having both of them installed on a system would end up wasting extra space.

I had that same problem as well initially. In particular trine 3. It's the udev problem others are taking about. For Fedora at least you need to load uinput again during boot. I think that was the module.
