Perhaps I was not clear enough when posting these numbers. These are harware numbers of *Steam on Linux* gamers and not overall Steam numbers. So, they represent Linux gamers hardware pretty accurately.

you seem to live in some alternative reality. blob is windows driver with kludges, which does not work on linux properly.

Following your logic, does that mean when I install and play a proprietary game (a blob) on my Ubuntu machine then it is not a Linux game I'm playing?

well, being proprietary is only one of issues with nvidia blob. the one i was referring to was being windows driver with shim. if you install windows game then it is not a linux game.
