Might as well scratch UT3 off your Linux gaming list.
I can certainly understand Epic moving away from PC gaming, but your claims UT3 is not coming to Linux...

    hahahahahaha.

The longer a release is put off, the less likely it will ever happen. Maybe 7 years down the road they will allow LGP to release it.

(PS anybody else notice http://www.icculus.org/ is MIA for the last while)

Oh, we have enough conspiracy theories already

Be nice... Many of the titles that're coming out are what Michael Simms could manage to get licensing rights for at that time. He's got a few gems hopefully coming out towards the latter part of this year...things that aren't "7 years down the road"...

That's a bit odd. I was on there last night looking at SDL_Sound for a project I'm working on... And it's up right at the moment. Could have been an outage between you and his site.

Heh... Yeah, largely from those selfsame newbies... Anyhow, I saw the correlation there, I had to point it out all the same.

As for Ryan's server, it looks almost like he's getting slammed with traffic or similar. From one moment to the next the site's serving up traffic and then timing out. Pings are consistent timing-wise so the site itself is there and the pipe to the server doesn't appear to be clogged with traffic...

                • Ya it seems his gentoo server is having hissy fits. His finger (http://icculus.org/cgi-bin/finger/fi...l?user=icculus) gives internal server errors every other time you try to access it.

                  • Maybe he is preparing the UT3 linux client download, maybe.
