    I wonder if SVE2 and TME will be a sticking point going the other direction. There is stuff that wont map to AVX2 hardware (or even AVX512 CPUs for TME and bits of SVE2), and I'm not sure expanding those to multiple instructions is an easy job. It must not be if FEX doesn't want to translate AVX2 to NEON.

      Is it a runtime binary translator, more like rosetta or is it like straight instruction per instruction (or block) emulator?
