Not much of a conspiracy, according to AdoredTV a couple of months back, intel has a huge budget to seem to be "the best" still. That's how commercialism can be used as, a budget to bring the commercial "common sense" to say "intel has....". And this is why us as consumers has to actual do real research for our product we purchase, to basically fine the lesser evil that manufactures the product (a good price, deal and policies for the customer), I mean second hand market works only so far..

Back to the thread ahead, while intel spends it's budget to change public perception, AMD just pumping out better chips.

According to whom? A youtube nonamer who has a proven track record of leaking BS?

"pumping better chips"? Where are laptops based on Ryzen 5600U/5800U? Where are laptops based on Ryzen 5600U/5800U at decent prices?

Laptop manufactures are forever sabotaging themselves, times i encountered "high performance" Intel laptop with single stick of memory is astonishing.

          There is no conspiracy here.

          Not to mention, total offtopic.

            These are evil men indeed.

They are best avoided, by rolling your own snazzy laptop.

amd doesn't build laptops(and chips btw, it only pumps their design)

AMD doesn't supply mobile Zen 3 chips in any decent qualities. And then they cheated with their low power mobile Ryzen 5000 lineup by having only half of the chips based on Zen 3 while all the others are Zen 2. Again, you show zero knowledge of the market and make up facts to paint your idol in a better spotlight.

What's even worse is that their Zen 3 parts are quite faster in single threaded mode than "better" Zen 2 parts, e.g.

                  https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare...00U/4141vs4178

5400U in single threaded mode is 18% (!) faster than 5500U and not too much slower in MT mode despite having 33.3% fewer cores.

                  Here's an even worse comparison:

More or less equal in MT mode, yet 5600U is a lot faster in ST mode.

I’d assume since it’s still 2009 we can talk about AMD’s anti-competitive practice with AIB GPU partners?
