AMD does make a lot more unfair practises still with AIBs. 5600XT BIOS was great example of that, AMD was ready to release BIOS increasing frequency of memory chips, but didn't tell AIBs like MSI/Gigabyte/Asus to validate them for such speeds. Meanwhile Sapphire/PowerColor etc. knew about it and released BIOS without any problems.

Also in times of premiere of 6800/6800XT/6900XT, AMD set MSRP in a way, that AIBs had almost no profit margins even for bottom tier cards. Literally 700$ 3080 was cheaper in most countries at AIBs at launch comparing to 6800XT (650$ card).

did they promise you to use only zen 3 in ryzen 5000 lineup? you have funny definition of cheating "didn't do what i want". do you buy chips based on their name or on their benchmarks?

Do you have a link to the antitrust suit against them? Interested to read it.

Again, you show zero knowledge of the market and make up facts to paint your idol in a better spotlight.

What's even worse is that their Zen 3 parts are quite faster in single threaded mode than "better" Zen 2 parts, e.g.

    https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare...00U/4141vs4178

5400U in single threaded mode is 18% (!) faster than 5500U and not too much slower in MT mode despite having 33.3% fewer cores.

    Here's an even worse comparison:

More or less equal in MT mode, yet 5600U is a lot faster in ST mode.

    These are evil men indeed.

They are best avoided, by rolling your own snazzy laptop.

Laptop manufactures are forever sabotaging themselves, times i encountered "high performance" Intel laptop with single stick of memory is astonishing.

    There is no conspiracy here.

    Not to mention, total offtopic.
