It is a strategy that always fail, simply because those who can fix the bug, don't read forums like this. It only irritates the regular readers who will start to perceive you as a nuisance.
File a (good) bug report with your distro. Mail the company that made the hardware. If they don't support Linux, then don't expect anybody else will. Use another OS if needed. I think Gentoo have another implementation of udev called eudev. Try that.
