Why don't we ever skip an RC? Does it spook the industry and/or community?

you cannot really skip an rc, just delay it, but it's all seems a bit of historical artifact to me from the pre git days. i'm sure the qa guys prefer a weekly tag so they have something to test again, but developers shouldn't really care because they get emails when linus merges their trees.

                  My top 5 breweries/beers I'd say...

                  Augustiner
                  Schneider Weiss (Aventinus)
                  Weihenstephaner (Vitus)
                  Kloster Andechs (any)
                  Tegernseer Hell

But there's dozens of other ones that would also tie for my top beers list :P
