I didn't have time to check out uutils, but I do routinely use ripgrep, it's great.

Rewriting uucp in Rust, now that's an anachronism.

Are you on a 2x86 PC or why does it matter? For truly embedded use there are even smaller alternatives.

Just please try to check how much CPU cache has your computer CPU.

Just batch the stuff so it's not relying on 200 packages...
