    Hrm, that's annoying, I've been using the mediawiki package at work. It's only an internal wiki so the security issues aren't a massive concern but still. Hopefully Backports will pick it up?

      Usually you can just compile the packages from source package, as the source packages aren't removed. I do so for some SiS drivers they dropped. Spliced the old source package with the newer sources from xorg.

        I find it really irritating migration plans start only after things are end-of-lifed
