But both fall well outside the realms of common decency, and both are crimes in some areas; I suggest that you learn to moderate your rhetoric.

Also, I'd appreciate if posts stayed somewhat relevant to the topic at hand. Rabbit trails do happen, but threads exist for a reason.

I really thing these distros need to disappear due to them holding back the progression of Linux and negative affliation with BSD:

-Debian (because of their kfreebsd port)
-Gentoo (their support of BSD. There are too many pro-BSD devs to gentoo. OpenRC was created by an ex-NetBSD developer Roy Marples)
-Slackware (refuse to accept modern features in favor of being BSD-like)
-CRUX (same as slackware)
-DracoLinux (same as slackware)

Hah, nice list. I was just thinking I'll have to move to Slackware on the servers I manage if Debian picks systemd.
And it's nothing to do with being BSD-like, and everything to do with systemd being a bad solution.
