      Says the person who advocates suicide for having a hobby you don't like...

        There's a difference mine was directed at a gnome developer, and I advocated suicide not murder.

        • Some one should go on Greg Kroah-Hartman G+ page and ask him why he changed his last name, I can't because I am blocked.

            Seriously, how is this relevant to anything ? What is your original culture zester because sometimes I have really a lot of trouble understanding your motives...

                Yes, there is a difference between suggesting suicide and suggesting a hit list.
                But both fall well outside the realms of common decency, and both are crimes in some areas; I suggest that you learn to moderate your rhetoric.

                Also, I'd appreciate if posts stayed somewhat relevant to the topic at hand. Rabbit trails do happen, but threads exist for a reason.

                @endman:
                reiserfs died with Nina, and I would expect a similar fate for systemd if people were to listen to you...
                Thanks for sparing me the trouble of enumerating a few good distros. What distro do you use? And how many acquaintances have bothered to try it?

                  I apologize to the board for my inappropriate conduct.

                  • Phoronix is like Playboy. We claim we come for the articles (what Michael writes) but we're really here for the porn (the forum threads).

                      -Debian (because of their kfreebsd port)
                      -Gentoo (their support of BSD. There are too many pro-BSD devs to gentoo. OpenRC was created by an ex-NetBSD developer Roy Marples)
                      -Slackware (refuse to accept modern features in favor of being BSD-like)
                      -CRUX (same as slackware)
                      -DracoLinux (same as slackware)
                      Hah, nice list. I was just thinking I'll have to move to Slackware on the servers I manage if Debian picks systemd.
                      And it's nothing to do with being BSD-like, and everything to do with systemd being a bad solution.

                      @steveriley

                      What an apt comparison.
