Hm, it could be a potential alternative to openSUSE Leap which will be going away? A stable KDE-focused distro?

How reliable is future development, how many developers are there, what's the bus factor? Is there still a big Mageia community?

I think missing packages are not a problem as long as Flatpak and Distrobox work. Although I could only find the former in the Mageia repo.
