I understand and used multi-path a lot in a SAN environment.
What does nvme multi-path do? Are there now multiple paths over the PCI-e bus/switch ?

To answer my own question after some reading on the topic: It is not intended for use on the PCIe bus, but for things like nvme-over-fiber-channel.
