    Canonical is funny as hell. What do they do for the ecosystem? Even Microsoft (that hates Linux and Free Software, despite their recent false claims and subtle efforts) contributes more code than them.

    Canonical should be formally bought by Microsoft like done with Xamarin. Canonical should stop vomiting shit and concentrate on WSL instead. A Debian repackaging project isn't a proper distro.

    What's Ubuntu really interesting for? What do they contribute to FOSS?

        They managed to popularize Linux as a whole, which Debian never could:
