What's the point of time investment when there are ALREADY people who tried and got their patches rejected or left on table forever, not because of technical reasons but politics and ideologies.

They roar excuses such as "We are volunteers! We are not paid! We are not obligated to prioritize our development time to please random user complaints! Commercial sponsorships are only for hosting and not into our pockets!"
It's not excuse but truth. GTK is mainly developed by volunteers. It's not like every GTK developer has well paid job in Red Hat and can focus whole time on GTK. If you want product with commercial support get such product. GTK is not that kind of product.
