Just because US do stuff like this, doesn't mean everybody is also doing it. One can argue Europe or everybody else is cleaning mess the US made by supporting project like this.

Maybe that's true, but I've seen europe cracking up monopolistic practices of big companies, which is not going to be addressed if Europe never stepped in.
