KDE is still crashing here after opening up Dolphin and the panel context menu, nor the panel itself, are working. And this on 2017/2018 hardware with Intel-only graphics (no other GPU present).

Which distribution and version of Plasma is it? I've seen Plasma Wayland being that buggy once on Fedora and I went ahead removing all the xf86-input* (except libinput) and xf86-video-* drivers which somehow helped a lot.
