Does it seem like Genode evolves faster than HURD?

Always love to see news about this OS. It is really going somewhere. Sounds like by the end of the year I should be ready to give it a test drive.

More like it evolves, unlike the hurd.

Genode seems to make sizable progress on each release, and make their releases 4 times a year without fail.

They also seem to work with a direction in mind and follow some sort of grand plan.

Already supporting the same userspace binaries on a load of different kernels, offering 3d acceleration, sound, modern webbrowser, as well as virtual machines to cover the gap,. Its developers dogfood it thorougly.

Now they seem to finally be aiming at offering some level of user friendly desktop experience. Just imagine if they actually manage to deliver, as they have been consistently doing.

Only needs a "normal" interface. Even something simple like an IceWM clone would suffice for now.
