Debian with KDE it's not ugly at all. GNOME is ugly.

But the main reason for me is having a universal OS for all.

    - Desktop -> Debian sid+Liquorix Kernel+Deb multimedia packages.
    - Server : Debian stables
    - Rapberry Pi: Raspbian
    - Old servers with IA64 architecture, Debian old old stable.

    Added to this:

    - You can repackage debs easily download the sources. (can change compilations flags and repackage)
    - It's quite easy to make custom backports (Download sources from sid and repackage for buster)

You don't ever install testing or more unstable for a people who can't fix problems in it himself and who must actually do something with the computer regularly, without you assisting him first. You just don't do that.

Debian should maybe had focused on getting people to join develop Debian, instead of having all sort of "inclusive" parties trying to get LGBT groupies.

None of these problems mentioned in slides are relevant to me. My Debian Stable + backports server works perfectly. My Debian Stable + backports desktop works perfectly. Same with laptop. All share kernel 5.7, plenty of new packages, I can't complain. Everything is rock solid and I have world-class, quality and timely security updates for every package.
People will moan, that Debian is old and rusty - they basically don't know how Debian works and even stable version can be kept up to date with a little bit of effort, thanks to backports repo. Time to educate, moaners? For everyone else, there is testing and sid, even more updates for a price of stability.
I am happy where I am, buster + buster-backports repos enabled and prioritized, Debian for me is perfect, I am getting my job done. Thank you Debian!

BLM is an embarrassment to the human race and to the people of color.
Very good said! They're artificially dividing people: black, white, gay, lesbian, hetero etc. like if it were the most important things. It's divide and conquer done by some pricks. There are better methods to group people: the ones who want to be happy, rich, free, develop, respectful toward others (but harsh toward murderers, liars and thieves) and so on. Everyone can fit into this and there's no need for artificial and Soros/Rockefeller/Rotschild/Gates sponsored movements like lgbt, blm, wlm (this one probably doesn't exists, but some 'philosophies' fits into it). I know white and black people, gay and lesbians and they don't buy mentioned propaganda.

            I agree completely.

I don't understand why are they so eager to achieve equal distribution (yeah, this is NOT diversity but equal distribution) of races and genders.
            What's the point?

Try to replace the google layer, and you will see were you lands, no drivers, no functionality, nothing..

              err, its called football..
It's named Association Football and different groups call it by different things according to local culture. So both 'soccer' and 'football' are correct, depending upon your local culture. When I was interested in that kind of sport, Rugby football was my thing.

It is much like the English word 'corn', which refers to different things depending on what the local cereal crop is. In the USA, it usually refers to maize (sweetcorn), but in the UK corn is usually wheat, but could also be barley. Korn (the German equivalent) can be rye. What is called football varies locally, much as the local cereal grain varies, but is still called corn.

By that definition they should switch to BSD or something.

Oh wait, this was written by the great Double Master Zen birdie!
If it wasn't for him, we would have never found out about Debian's secret dumb plans...

                  ....aaaand suddenly, the topic changes.

Football. The word is self-explanatory (a ball kicked with the foot).

Dont forget Fussball. Your explanation could also refer to American football, Which is why the term soccer/Associated football probably came to be in use.

                    • Good bye Debian!

Projects that have some sort of ancestry to debian should now start to think about how to rebuild their fundamentals. Especially looking at Valve and Canonical.
