Alex mentioned that the GL ES 2.0 subset of GL seemed like a pretty good guideline, since it seemed to avoid most of the problem areas between DX9 and GL 2.x hardware support. There was probably more discussed, but that was the main takeaway AFAIK.

What was the outcome of the "Which functions can app developers rely on" talk?

Also, was there no discussion about patents? Corbin mentioned he would bring this up, but since he wasn't there, was this skipped?
