    Unfortunately games like Elite: Dangerous have such complex shaders that they take a very long to compile. I don't know the extent at which caching helps in this situation.

    The game freezes at "preparing planet generation system" after shader generation completes. This is before the main menu loads. Software information Elite Dangerous: Horizons System information GPU...

        Not needed.

        DXVK 'upgrade path' didn't worked right.
        After manually erase of old stuff (libs) with winecfg all was fine.
        All DXVK current versions work GREAT.
        Even much faster than 60 fps (vsync disabled) ;-)
