I'm on rc5 now and I've been having issues with Deus Ex Mankind Divided. It runs at sub 1 fps, including intros and main menu so it completely unplayable. Hope rc6 or upcoming stable release fixes this. Downgrading to 17.0 or 17.1 solves the issue for me, so there must be some kind of regression in 17.2. No problems with other games though, and the overall performance improvement in 17.2 is awesome.

Edit: Should have mentioned this is on an R9 Fury, 4.12.9 kernel and Ubuntu-GNOME 17.04. I currently fetch mesa 17.2 through xorg-edgers ppa, but I've also tried compiling myself with the same results.

So much mesa development being done... Thank you mesa developers!

Who are the companies developing mesa actually? I know about Valve investing in it already, but who else?

Most of it is from the hardware vendors (mostly Intel and AMD), consulting firms that I think are mainly paid by the hardware vendors and Valve, distros (mostly Red Hat), and VMWare who uses it to provide 3d acceleration in their products.

I attached a save in the bug report. See also here: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43273#c32 (note, it's for GOG GOTY version).
