    Yes, Tomb Raider needs to be restarted for TressFX option to take effect (on or off).

    I did what you say and you are right.

    A quick benchmark with TressFX on give me 44.3FPS in a custom setup at 1080p and 132 with it off. Feral wasn't joking when they say it is a heavy effect !!

      You can patch your kernel, that's what I've been doing for 4.5 and 4.6 to get compute shaders.
      Waiting for 4.7 wasn't good enough

        this new release with opengl 4.3, will increase gaming performance compareted to opengl 4.1?

          The change in OpenGL version will not make a difference in performance by itself, it will allow games that didn't even start before to work. But there are other changes between mesa 11.2 and the future mesa 12 that might increase performance in some cases.
          I expect Michael will do some benchmarks once mesa 12 release candidates are released.
