    Isn't panfrost already using the amdgpu kernel scheduler, which became drm-scheduler.. and now is shared between multiple drivers ?
    Or, is this something else ?

      The kernel scheduler manages submission of commands to the GPU (where a command packet typically includes pointers to shader programs and data buffers), while at first glance this is an instruction scheduler for the shader compiler.
