This is a good step for Linux, but also if you're working on a critical system like this and you're not using seL4 for the critical processes, I think you are being negligent.

Considering the nature of the exploits they are looking to mitigate, it's either "a lot of work for one proper fix" or "a lot of work spread over a bazillion individual fixes". No matter where it comes from.
