It's plainly obvious, the -ONLY- solution is get the rest of your code upstream. Stop relying on complex buggy ass distribution dependent installation scripts. Get all of you code released so that distributions themselves can distribute you code exactly as they are meant to in the first place.
    I'd prefer to just rely on having code upstream, but unfortunately, hardware schedules rarely align with distro schedules so there will always be cases where we won't be able to get the code upstream in time to hit a specific distro that our customers care about. Even if we did get all the code upstream for a particular asic, there are also things like last minutes fixes for weird OEM platform or sbios issues that come too late to be included in the box. How do you propose we deliver support in those cases?
