  • Please Help RX480

    Hi there I am sorry to bother you guys about this issue but at a lost on what could be the issue. I bought a new Gigabyte RX480 8gb card and got it install two days ago. I am coming from a Nvidia card user with Linux for almost 9 years. I installed the drivers and did everything there web site did and got my 1080p. Even under about this computer it has the video card there. When I try to play really and games from steam now they do not load or start right. When I run the heaven benchmark it runs really poor (my gtx960 2gb ran better). I am running Ubuntu 16.04 with kernel 4.9.3-040903-generic (will upgrade the kernel if I have to). Just not sure what to do can someone please help.

                    OK, I don't see anything obviously wrong with the driver output. BTW it's probably easier to pastebin the logs and then just post a link here.

                    Can you pick a specific steam game that isn't running and provide more details ?

                    For Heaven, what FPS are you getting at 1080p ?
