AMD should write something like this in changleog for this driver.. Perf optimizations for:

Dota 2, Xonotix, Nexuiz, This War of Mine, GPUTest, Tessmark... for couple UE4 demos (Atlantis, Elemental, EffectsCave, MatineeFight), and probably some more, blah, blah...

You don't need to say we maded it also for Total War : Attila, but we need to remain silent on that until release of the game

It is just an error in the release notes, even the windows version refuses to install for pre-GCN.

it is not, it work fine on my pre-GCN 5870m, as schmidtbag said it may not be the real crimson version that was released for linux

AFAIK the Windows version works on pre-GCN as well. We announced that we were *going* to be removing pre-GCN support from Catalyst, not that we *had* removed it.
