      As long as every run of "vkmark" crashes consistently within seconds on 8700G APUs using the current defaults for the "amdgpu" parameters, I'm certainly not trusting that driver and its quality assurance any more than in the past.

        Hmm... I wonder about that "input power" business. Has AMD finally added total board power telemetry? Or is it just to align with the power?_input naming in sysfs?

          It's instantaneous power (aligned with hwmon naming) as opposed to average power.
