Pal or Legacy ?

(latest driver for RX Vega 64) I installed Pal & Legacy for opencl but how can I tell which is in use or is it a per app thing?

It depends on the GPU generation IIRC.

GFX9 (including Vega) will use PAL with current AMDGPU packaged drivers.

If you run clinfo I believe there's at least one string that mentions PAL on GFX9. If you are running the ROCm stack the string should be different.
